We’re celebrating Father’s Day with one of our favorite dads, Late Night host Seth Meyers, and his too-adorable-for-words son Ashe. Seth talks Father’s Day traditions, changing diapers, and how life will never be the same with baby Ashe in it.

This is your second Father’s Day as a father – do you see any kind of family tradition forming?
Last year we had fried chicken for lunch. If that became a tradition, I’d be very happy.
If Ashe could talk, what would he say is his favorite thing about you?
Good at tickling, decent at changing a diaper, and I passed down some solid blue eye genes.
What surprised you the most about becoming a father?
I’m surprised by how natural it feels. You become a father in an instant, and then can’t remember what it was like before your child was in your life.
