Whale Pillow

Delightful hand-knit kids throw pillow, featuring a whimsical whale appliqué that's sure to make a splash in any child's room! Hand-crocheted button closure on back. Our pillow covers are handmade in Armenia.  This collective was started with seed funding from Save the Children to create jobs and help promote Armenian crafts. The project now employs over 600 women who were previously without work in Armenia’s struggling economy. They enjoy a safe work environment and earn a living wage with a respect for their cultural traditions. Their expert sewing work can be seen in the quality of our beautiful pillows. Pillows include a cotton/polyester insert that is made in the USA. Not for use in cribs.

Owners James and Bethany Therrien have been working with the same artisan groups for over 10 years and have developed long-term, committed partnerships that help promote sustainable income, environmental awareness and greater economic equality.
