Kintsugi, or Kintsukuroi, is the centuries-old Japanese art of fixing broken pottery and translates to “golden joinery,”. Far from hiding flaws, the golden seams highlight what would be considered imperfections. Something we believe is important. Our sandals use 3mm foiled kangaroo leather lacing (one of the strongest leathers in the world) to create the effect of golden seams across the fore and mid foot. 1.5m of the same lacing wraps around the ankle to secure your foot into the sandal.
